Well, it's official. The last of the Guatemala Fraijanes has been sold and will no longer be available.
Out with the old and in with the new!
So with one of our favorite Guatemala Specialty Coffees heading out the door - we have another one lined up that I just cannot even believe... My dad says it may very well be the best coffee he's ever had (this is coming from a guy with 30+ years in the coffee roasting business), and I honestly don't blame him... I had it this morning and WOW. It quite literally tastes like you're drinking a Banana, and I'm really having a hard time saying that it might be even better than our Ethiopian (wild, I know). I kid you not... I thought nothing would ever beat our Ethiopian, but here i am, dumbfounded by the incredible flavors of this Naturally processed Guatemala bean.
I'd sit here and type for days about it - but instead of doing that - check out the video instead (Link at the top and bottom of this email)! It includes the new graphics, the new designs, and plenty of information about the new coffees.
If you hadn't noticed already, the Guatemala Fraijanes has been removed from the catalog and replaced by our Santa Rosa Guat. The Santa Rosa is our new blending Guatemala, and we will have a Single Origin ONLY guat coming in behind it.
What I didn't mention in the video though is the arrival of our brand new African bean - the Tanzania Peaberry PLUS Zanzibar. Expect this on the catalog in the coming 1-2 weeks as we profile and roast it in preparation for market. This will be a limited edition ONLY coffee, it will not be used in any blends, and once we're out of it - that's it! We'll probably have it for a couple months, so if you have a chance to try it - I highly recommend! It tastes like as if you dipped a Walnut in Orange Juice and then ate it. VERY nutty, with similar citrus notes as the Kenya AA in the background. AMAZING coffee for a limited edition and I can't wait to share it with y'all!
Thanks everyone - and until next time - Foxen Out!
