Foxen Coffee Fundraiser?

Foxen Coffee Fundraiser?

We’ve thought about doing this before when a family member referred us to someone from a local fundraiser, but it wasn’t part of the original startup plan, and we have no experience doing it. Nonetheless, it’s been an idea fizzling in the back of our mind ever since. Coffee for a cause? How could you forget that!?

So fast forward 3-4 months and here we are again. In a situation where a very similar opportunity has presented itself… but this time I met the guy myself, and he’s willing to help us understand how we can get involved.

For that I am extremely grateful.

Not only has this person helped make the connection, but he’s also given the incredible insight into what gives communities a sense of strength and association. Our dialogue has thoroughly humbled and excited me for what’s next… Both our local and online community has supported us to this point, and now we have the opportunity to support something else that has a great cause too. This is so exciting it’s hard to hold in.

It is important to note, however, that businesses should approach their involvement in fundraisers with care. We want to ensure we’re supporting something that has good values, and I can tell you in all sincerity that what we’ve seen so far looks to be nothing short of great.

Overall, we feel that getting involved with fundraisers can be a positive development for both the business and the cause being fundraised for, so we’re excited and happy to explore the idea.

If/When this kicks off, we’d like to open the fundraiser to our existing customer base as well as the new demographic that it directly supports – so keep an eye out for that in the future if you want to get involved in the cause.

That’s it for this week, thank you for all of your support and feedback, we would be nowhere without you.
