Not terrible but the aroma was completely gone. My bag was not fresh and! I'm pretty disappointed with the experience. I'd prefer a freshly roasted coffee... Not one that's been on a shelf for over 2-3 months... Especially at this price point. :(

Hi Aaron, we typically let the coffee de-gas for 1-2 weeks before it's shipped to a customer, and it's very abnormal for it to sit on a shelf for longer than that. Can you send us a picture of the roast date and batch number on the bottom of the bag so that we can investigate?

Peak flavor for most of our coffees tested between 3-16 weeks, and our packaging equipment also injects food grade nitrogen when it's sealed to keep the coffee as fresh as possible.

I only recently started drinking coffee and this light brew has been perfect, it's flavor is mild and approachable, goes great with cream and sugar or just black.

This is for you if you like berry flavor that is naturally a part of the coffee. I have always never paid attention to the Aroma or Natural flavor notes until now.

The roaster was spot on about the berry notes though. Wife said it only took half the sugar she normally uses. So this may be a good coffee for non sugar/cream drinkers.

I personally like the Kenya better.
